SEGMENT #1: Lowcountry Dog Magazine
GUEST: Brian Foster, Publisher
ISSUE: Pets and Pet Care/Adoption
Lowcountry Dog Magazine was created to provide information and assistance for pet owners, and also to assist local animal rescue organizations. Each year the digital Magazine hosts events to raise money for those animal non-profits. Brian Foster, the publisher of Lowcountry Dog Magazine, discussed the upcoming event, the annual Woofstock music and dog festival. This year’s event is April 12 at the Hanahan Amphitheater. Foster shared how the money raised for the event would be shared with animal shelter partners and how adoption and fostering opportunities would be available. The publisher also explained how individuals can become Lowcountry Dog Magazine members and the benefits of that. Foster also spoke about the challenges shelters are facing and how people can help.
