The African nation of Togo is a country with a much lower standard of living than we enjoy in America.  Francis + Benedict is both a business, and a non-profit, established to help those in Togo.  Francis + Benedict Advocates Kylie Decker and Summer Insabella shared the story of how it got started, and how each of them became advocates for the nonprofit and visited Togo. Their annual “Giving Gala” is on May 1st and the pair provided information on the fundraising event, which includes a visit from Francis and Benedict, the organization’s namesakes.  The two explained the process of how the clothing made in Togo is sold locally and how those funds, and money raised at the Gala, assist the residents of the village where the clothes are made and the difference it’s making.
