NCPD It’s Cool to Be in School Giveaway

For 18 years, the North Charleston Police Department has been providing the children of the local community with the opportunity to go back to school ready and will all their needs met by hosting their annual “It’s Cool to Be in School” Supply Drive Fun Day! Families are encouraged to come out to the North Charleston Sports Complex to interact with local officers providing much needed supplies and backpacks for elementary, middle, and high school kids.

It isn’t just a day to collect school supplies, but a day to have fun! Kids will have the opportunity to have fun with games, face painting, and dancing with a live DJ spinning the hits as well as delicious food. The event will also have barbers and stylists on-site ready to give out fresh haircuts so kids can start their school year in style. All of these resources are available to the North Charleston community for FREE.

The “It’s Cool to Be in School” Supply Drive Fun Day happens August 8th at the North Charleston Sports Complex from 10AM to 1PM. Don’t miss this opportunity for free back-to-school prep!
