11 Days of Celebrating African American & Carribean Art & Culture
Thursday, Sept. 25-Sunday, Oct. 5 | Throughout the Lowcountry
The MOJA Arts Festival is returning to Charleston this Fall! It’s 11 whole days of celebrating the legacy of African American and Carribean art and culture that’s widespread throughout the Lowcountry.
The MOJA Arts Fest kicks off Thursday, Sept. 25 with an Art Exhibition, a parade, and an opening reception later that evening – however there’s always something to discover each day of the festival until Sunday, October 5! Each day of the MOJA Arts Festival will be filled with celebration, food, music, and the arts of poetry, theater, storytelling, and traditional crafts and family activities!
The largest part of the MOJA Arts Festival takes place Oct. 1, a massive Downtown Block Party featuring artist Tommy Brown, presenting A Tribute to Black Icons.
