Exchange Club of Charleston’s Youth Scholarships
Deadline: Sunday, April 12th

Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkley High School Seniors who plan to enroll in college for the Fall 2026 semester are eligible to apply for one of two special scholarships presented by the Exchange Club of Charleston: The Youth of the Year and Accepting the Challenge of Excellence scholarships. Three chosen students will be awarded $22,000 along with a chance to move to higher District competition and new opportunities.

The Youth of the Year scholarship highlight students who have displayed outstanding excellence in leadership and academics. Not only does this scholarship enhance career opportunities, but also promotes good citizenship, a desire for greater scholastic achievement, and the development of well-rounded personalities in our community.

The Accepting the Challenge of Excellence scholarship highlights students who have overcome physical, emotional, or social roadblocks and who are now eligible for high school graduation. This award encourages students to overcome their hardships and work hard toward a high school diploma, as well as recognizing students who may often be overlooked for their achievements.
