RECAP: Thanksgiving Meal Packing Event – Nov. 15

On Thursday, Nov. 15, Charleston and North Charleston Hendrick Automotive Group partnered with the Lowcountry Food Bank to provide 1,000 families with a traditional Thanksgiving meal. 99.3 The Box and the Charleston Radio Group family joined the Thanksgiving Meal Drive in packing meals to feed more than 4,000 people facing hunger in the Lowcountry.

This holiday season, one in five children in the Lowcountry will struggle with food insecurity. Meals packaged in the Thanksgiving Meal Drive will supply a family of four with: a fresh turkey, stuffing, cut corn, cranberry sauce, green beans, turkey gravy, macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes and a pumpkin pie.
